Our Story
Hello, and welcome to our world! We're Helia and Benny Joe, the founders and chief pet-lovers behind Glitter and Grimalkins.
Our journey started not in a boardroom, but in our cozy, sometimes chaotic, always loving home. For years, our life has revolved around saving, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for animals. To date, we have been proud to foster over 500 incredible cats and dogs. Each one has left a paw print on our hearts, inspiring the mission that drives this company every single day.
Our Origin Story: Fostering A Mission
As seasoned fosters, we know firsthand the immense physical and emotional demands on our local shelters. We also know that every foster pet—from the tiniest, timid kitten to the most boisterous, bounce-back dog—deserves the very best nutrition and care.
We found ourselves constantly searching for:

When we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for, the idea for Glitter and Grimalkins was born. It's a way for us to merge our love for the whimsical, the sparkly, and the mysterious (The Glitter) with our deep, unconditional devotion to every animal—especially the sleek, sometimes misunderstood, rescued felines and canines (The Grimalkins).
